MSUS offers a broad Religious Education program that includes
Classes
Classes are broadly divided by age and can vary from year to year depending upon the current enrollment, the curriculum, and the needs of the children.

Curriculum
The curriculum of the MSUS Sunday School is based on four themes: Personal Beliefs, Unitarian Universalist history, Peace-making and Social Justice, and World Religions.

Church Services
The children join their parents regularly in the sanctuary for the beginning of the service. This gives the children the excitement of being in church and includes them in the church community. The young people also participate in appropriate services throughout the year. The Sunday School also plans a service for the congregation each year, which is often a play.
 
Weekend Retreats and Camps
There are a number of weekend retreats and camps sponsored by the Prairie Star District Council. These include camps and retreats for the youth as well as programs oriented towards the whole family.

Special Events
We offer a number of special events during the year, including field trips, caroling, a holiday pageant, game and movie nights, Spring and Fall Equinox Celebrations, multi-church events and all church socials.

Self-Discovery and Self Expression
We encourage young adults to join the various church committees so that we all can benefit from their ideas and see that their needs are adequately represented. We have yearly, youth led meetings to find out their desires for the Sunday School. At these meetings, they are encouraged to express feelings and ideas regarding their church school experiences.
